Springbank Minor Hockey Association

The Springbank Minor Hockey Association (SMHA) is a volunteer-driven organization that has been dedicated to helping young hockey players. SMHA is an association of Hockey Calgary which is the governing body for all minor hockey in Calgary from Timbits to Junior (ages 5 to 21). Springbank Figure Skating Club

Springbank Figure Skating Club (SFSC) originated in 1976 and is sanctioned by Skate Canada. It offers Canskate, Learn to Figure Skate, Starskate, and CompetitiveSkate programs which are all instructed by Certified Skate Canada coaches. SFSC has programs for all ages and levels of skating wtih a primary focus on developing children’s basic and advanced skating skills in a fun and positive environment. Springbank Curling Club

The Springbank Curling Club is a non-profit volunteer organization that runs various curling leagues and programs at the Springbank Park For All Seasons.

If you’re a beginner or championship-bound, young or old, Springbank has a curling league for you. Join by yourself or with your team. In our warm and friendly club, you will quickly find yourself "at home" in Springbank.

Springbank Senior Curling

The Springbank Senior Curling League is for curlers aged 50+, and runs Friday mornings from 9:30-11:30am, October through March.  This league is great for curlers who want to stay in the sport of curling in a fun, relaxed atmosphere.  For more information or to register please contact Tim Presber at  or (403) 827-2755.

Westwinds Ladies Curling Club

The Westwinds Ladies Curling Club runs Wednesday afternoons from 1:00-3:00pm, October through March.  The club’s focus is on having fun, being active, and enjoying socializing with our great group of curlers. Springbank Soccer Club

The Springbank Soccer Club (SSC) is a not-for-profit organization that offers soccer to Springbank and the surrounding communities for both girls and boys. We have non-competitive programs, which we call House League, for players 3-12 years old and more competitive programs, which we call City League, for players 6-19 years old.

SSC has two seasons; the “Indoor season” runs from approximately Oct 15th-March 15th and the “Outdoor season” runs from approximately May 1st-Sept 30th.

Calgary West Little League

Calgary West Little League exists to provide the youth of our community with an affordable opportunity to learn baseball skills in a fun and healthy environment. We strive to develop the three attributes of Little League's Motto: Character, Courage, and Loyalty.

Calgary Bucks Baseball Club

The Calgary Bucks Baseball Club, along with its partners at Absolute Baseball Academy, are one of Alberta’s premier baseball programs. Our mission is to provide the most organized and competitive baseball development program in the province.

We bring elite training and experiences to players as they maximize their potential through preparation, determination, focus, commitment and sportsmanship while developing skills second to none. We also run numerous recreational & developmental camps throughout the year to not only give back to the baseball community, but to also begin the development of future athletes of all ages and skill levels.

JVC Volleyball Training Centre

The Junior Varsity Centre (JVC) is Calgary's premier high performance training centre in volleyball and basketball, and offers a wide variety of programs developed for all ages and skill types. Each summer, programming also includes beach volleyball at Springbank Park For All Seasons to ensure that athletes obtain maximum exposure to all aspects of the game.

Numerous volleyball and basketball programs use JVC as their home base due to the availability of its strength training centre, yoga/barre studio, and state of art training equipment.  JVC provides court rentals and venue rentals for these sports, as well as rollerskating and dodgeball.
